World Heritage Kinderdijk

The Kinderdijk is a bit further away (one hour away), but is definitely worth driving! The small village of Kinderdijk has 19 windmills and attracts tourists from all over the world. The mills were built around 1740. In 1997 Unesco put the area on the World Heritage List of cultural-historical objects.

In one day you can very well combine Kinderdijk with the popular and modern city Rotterdam.
